Latexo 7th and 8th graders participated in the annual Veteran's of Foreign War essay contest this year. Three students were awarded prizes for their excellent interpretation of "What Does Freedom Mean to Me." Harleigh Beavers, Ashley Oswald and Jimmy Keene were each awarded a cash prize and are now entered in the state competition.
Due to the heavy rain the Latexo ISD bus that runs down pipeline road will not be running on pipeline road until repairs can be made to the road. Parents will need to meet the bus at the intersection of Wesley Chapel road and FM 229 at the following times.
Morning between 6:00 am and 6:15 am
Afternoon between 3:50 and 4:00 pm
