Mr. Mack Dugat

 I am looking forward to a great year! I will do my best to help make Latexo ISD the best place possible to obtain a first-class education.  I can truly say Latexo is a great place to be. I am proud to be part of a district so well know for academics, great teachers, and greater students.  I began my adulthood as an auto mechanic, then, in later years, I went into teaching.  Half of my educational career of 20 years has been in the classroom teaching 5th grade math and the other half has been in administration.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F Austin State University in 2002 and my Masters of Education from Stephen F Austin in 2006.  I have been married 30 years and I have three children.  Both my daughters graduated from Stephen F. Austin and currently teach in Huntington, Texas.  My son will be leaving soon for boot camp in the United States Army.  I enjoy hunting, fishing, traveling, and almost anything outdoors.  I enjoy working with children and I strongly believe working in education is a calling.  Again, I look forward to a great year and we will do everything we can to make it happen.
