I began my career in Law Enforcement in 2003 with the Houston County Sheriff's Office. In August of 2020 I went to work for the Angelina County Sheriff's Office in Lufkin Tx. In 2022, I was offered the Chief of Police position for the newly formed Latexo ISD Police Department. I accepted the position and have found working in a school setting with the students of Latexo ISD to be the most rewarding thing I have done in my career. I look forward to coming to work every day and enjoy what I do. Latexo ISD is blessed with great students and staff, and I'm honored to be here to keep them safe.

I grew up in Alto Texas where I enjoyed playing basketball and other athletics. After graduation, I went on to work at Rusk State Hospital for seven years and gained a lot of experience with the mentally ill and disabled. I moved into law enforcement from there, and worked at Angelina county Sheriff's Office for three years. During my time at Angelina County Sheriff's Office I became a Field Training Officer and trained all of our new hires on how to effectively enforce the law in an ethical manner. I have since moved on from Angelina County, and I am looking forward to protecting the children of Latexo ISD and serving this community.
