Bus Route Information
Updated 5/21/15 11:47am
Due to the deteriorating conditions on our unpaved county roads Latexo ISD bus routes will be changing until the roads can be maintained. The continual rains have made some of the roads impassable and the fact that rain is predicted daily for the next several days makes it necessary to change the following routes. The following stops will be in effect until further notice.
Route 1 - (Logan Taylor)
Stop 1 will be at the intersection of FM 229 and CR 2025
Stop 2 will be at the intersection of SH 287/19 and CR 1800
Stop 3 will be at the intersection of FM 2160 and CR 2131
Stop 4 will be at the intersection of Old Latexo Road and CR 2124
Stop 5 will be at the intersection of FM 2663 and CR 1825
Stop 6 will be at the intersection of FM 2663 and CR 1620
Route 2 – (Melanie Smith)
All stops will remain the same except for students that live on Pipeline road. Those students will need to meet the bus at the intersection of FM 229 and CR 2130
Route 3 – (LaQuisha Jones)
Stop 1 will be at the intersection of FM 2663 and CR 1610
Stop 2 will be at the intersection of FM 2022 and CR 1625
Stop 3 will be at the intersection of FM 2022 and CR 1630
Stop 4 will be at the intersection of FM 2022 and CR 1640
Stop 5 will be at the intersection of FM 2022 and CR 1650
Stop 6 will be at the intersection of S Hwy 21 and CR 1515
Stop 7 will be at the intersection of S Hwy 21 and CR 1525
Please be aware that this will change the timing in the afternoons by getting the students to their stops quicker and will make the morning routes quicker also. The morning routes will not start until 6:30 am until we are back to our regular stops. This is a delay of about 30 minutes.
Please bring your child to and pick them up at the stop most convenient to your home. We are sorry for the inconvenience this causes. If you have any questions please go to the Latexo ISD webpage, Facebook, or call the campus or district offices.
***Any children not met at the bus stops will be returned to their campus to be picked up by a parent.
